God's signature on your life!

Been reflecting about this past year and I can truly say that the signature of God was on all events, good and bad. You might be thinking about how God can be in bad situations, but all  know is that they were turned around for my good. Valuable lessons (which I like to call "gems") were learnt and I'm the better for them. That's just how God works! Ask Him, He will teach you.

My heart is filled with awe and wonder of the love and graciousness of God! We are only here on this earth, making our mark because He is in us, working through us and all around us.

I thank Jesus Christ for being the centre of my life and lives of my family. For all You are to us and all You've done for us, Almighty God, we say all glory and honour to Your name.

For 2012, if 2011 just was not big enough to contain MY BIG GOD, just imagine how great the NEW YEAR will be with the overflow of 2011 plus all that God has for us! It is just clear to see that God is becoming more and more involved in the lives of all! Even those who don't believe in God, have to admit that you cannot run away from God. He is everywhere and He is going nowhere, until every knee bows and every tongue confesses that Jesus Christ is Lord.

For the New Year, I pray that all people will see God's signature in their lives!

Happy Birthday Jesus!

Happy Birthday Jesus! I want to thank God, the father, for giving You to us! Your life has been just as Your Father willed! You have changed my life & the life of my family. Thank You for giving us new life, new hope and unfailing love.

All praise, honour and glory to the King of kings and the Lord of lords!

Gifts in human form

Jesus Christ came as our gift in human form. When we start to unwrap Him we discover His love, mercy and grace for us. We will probably never discover all of Him because there's so much more to Him. Jesus is the gift that just keeps on giving. Even after giving His life for us, He keeps on giving us all of who He is.

So like Christ came in human form, so did those around us come. Some were from prayers, some were surprises and some were complicated gifts. Those from prayers brought such joy to our lives, and we knew that they were heaven sent. These are gifts that you treasure and look at with love and thank God every day for this gift. They just make life here on earth so pleasant and joyful.  

The next are these surprise gifts who just popped into our lives so unexpectedly that we kept them wrapped until we knew what to do with them. Then when we unwrapped them we began to see the real reason they were sent, to grow us and groom us.

The other was the complicated gifts that we can certainly do without and would rather return them to sender. These gifts are those people who you can’t understand or those who frustrate the life out of you. The instruction manual is about 100 pages for these, which you don’t have time to read. They make you so crazy that you would rather lock them away in the closet and keep them there until Jesus returns. But when you take the time to get to know them, you discover that they are in your life to make you a better person.

All humans are gifts from God. So next time you wonder why a certain person is in your life, know that they are sent to you for a greater purpose. If you want to be a blessing to someone, be the gift that just keeps giving.

Let go & let God

Why is it so easy for us to hold on to things that make us miserable than those things that would set us free & make us flourish?

You probably have more than most people & appreciate them less.

I was complaining one day about what we didn't have in our home & my son who was 4 years old at the time says so profoundly 'but we've got Jesus'! Listen to your kids sometimes they have some life changing lessons!

It's about time we started to unclutter our minds. Too often we allow too much space for things that bring us misery, heartache & grief.

Let's go on the 1st journey of discovery as we let go of all these useless things! Some of which are : the past, the hurt, the guilt,  negative thoughts, anxiety, unforgiveness and  fear. These are dim in comparison to the light of the bright future the Almighty God has for you.

Be prepared for the ride of your life as you venture into the unchartered waters of joy & peace.

Look at the thing that causes you misery & then look at the joy you can experience if you just let it go. You'll discover that the joy outweighs the misery and the peace outweighs the fears. Choose to be happy regardless of the circumstances.

Let go & let God, He has a way of making things work together for your good!
